In addition, coal mining resources with the measured deposit of 21,448,500 ton are ready to be explored in the North Bengkulu regency

  17. West Sumatra
    There are several coal mining sites with measured deposits of 28 million ton in Sawahlunto Sijunjung regency, 2,675 thousand ton in Solok regency and 2,517 thousand ton in Pesisir Selatan regency. Other mining commodity is 25,000 m3 deposit of half precious stone explored and processed in Pesisir Selatan regency and 20,000,000 m3 of this in Solok. Approximately 337,000 M3 deposit of iron sand can be explore in Agam regency and millions of this deposit in Pariaman regency, while 55.5 million ton of toseki mining is located in Pasaman regency. The other mineral sources are 2,400 million m3 estimated deposit of granite in Sawahlunto Sijunjung regency, 3 million m3 of this in Solok regency and 26.2 million m3 of this in Pesisir Selatan regency.
